Paper Abstract:
|
Most post-feminists oppose to womens subjectification. We need to pay attention that womens post-subjectification
does not means removal or death of subjective. Womens post-subjectification means how other possibilities concealed
or fallen off in subjectification are exploited politically. Cha Hak-Kyung uses various material like letter, document, map,
photography in a work to restore innumerable voices. But there materials have vague boundary with fictional description
and are mostly far from precision of indication, suitability and connection. Cha Hak-Kyung has represented the problem
of Korean history and women in various and heterogeneous ways, holding fast to self-conscious manner. Her works,
which shows intensively contrast of Korean-American women artist in boundary of the third world, expresses strong
nationalistic ideology that can make origin of identity found though mother countrys inheritance, and reveals contrast
desire to escape from the ideology for new mixed relationship. |
